Wonderful Wedding near Dresden

During the pentecost weekend I was together with my flatmates at the wedding of my good friend and former flatmate Micha. I experienced together with him a lot of cool things, shared joy and pain.

We arrived already on Friday to help building up. A small group already was there and it was a lot of fun taking care of the last preparations. In the evening we were sitting together eating hot dogs. In the background a gorgeous sunset.

We were able to sleep in the house of Micha's parents and had a great time with the other helpers.

I took the oppurtunity to buy a new suit. Here you can see a few pictures of it.

For the service we were asked to line the way to the church. And so people were standing in front of the church building waiting for the bridal couple. We had wonderful weather (thankyou Jesus!)

A bunch of beautiful and nice folks :)

How cool they arrived in a Trabbi (an old car of the former GDR) and the looked wonderful coming up the hill.

Great service in this small church. Great worship, moved me, great sermon.

Afterwards congratulations and sparkling wine reception. I handed over the selfdesigned gift coupon for a dinner for two in our flat sharing community.

Convoy from Kleinröhrsdorf (service) to Bretnig where we celebratetd.

The location was wonderful and decorated nicely. Coffee and cake were very cool. I had nice talks with old friends I had not seen for a long time. And I got to know some cool new friends.

After coffeetime it was time for the group photo and someone from Peru took the chance to do one of his Recréacions. People in action!

Then we had a lot of time to talk, walk and play in the playground :)
The evening program was nice. A cool mixture and not too much. Supper was nice but not really enough.

We from our flat sharing community took a quiz. The bridal couple had to guess the typical things of every flat mate.

At the next morning we were having all breakfast together (would have been a nice picture to post as the only photo of the wedding ceremonies)

I was able to go back together with the family of a former flat mate who took me directly to Munich. We had a good time in the car. Great!

Prophetic painting while delivering the mail

As some of you know I am working now as a postman at Deutsche Post. First I only did it cause I needed some extra money. I was self-employed at that time as a webdsigner and did not make it very well. But when I continued working God spoke very clear that he wanted me to be there as long as He wanted till he would tell me to quit. Very challening as it is not the dream of a job for me.

At the beginning of last December it was one of those Saturdays. It was very cold, I was freezing though different layers of clothing, it was snowing. And because of an special extra advertising we must deliver every Saturday I exspected to get home very, very late. And as I made my way through all the snow I was praying and fighting with God. There was a prophetic word I received that I had to stay at this place as long till I will be at peace with it. I would be sorry that I would have to leave cause God would do there so much. Impossible to see and believe now. So I am praying and complaining. Asking God how this ever should happen, complaining that I have to do this job at all and that I only wanted to go home...

At some point I reached apartment buildings with mailboxes at the outside. A neighbor is reaching me. He tells me that he wanted to get something asking me to wait. Of course - I continue delivering the mail, I am now at the next house where he lives. He is back now, waiting till I am ready.

Turning to him he begins: He had prayed all day that he would meet me today, he was after other postmen looking if he would find me. Aha! Now he is so happy that he found me. He had asked God if he would give him an impression for his postman. Wow! He then was painting till late half past one in the night! I first thought he would have scribbled something with a pen on a notepad. But no, he really had painted it on a canvas! Wow!

He first covered the other part and explained the picture: He saw an Eagle (symbol for the prophets!) flying through a thunderstorm getting totally wet (how fitting!). He is wearily and only wants to have some peace and quiet. He flies down to sit there and have some rest. The problem: he still is in the rain and wil continue to get wet!

But he should rather soar up in the sky, so hard it might be, and break through the clouds. Up on the mountain top - being only some meters above the clouds - he could rest, dry and take a sunbath (= to rejoice in his God). Here he would have escaped the storm and would no longer get wet!

I can tell you that almost took my breath away! There is someone I hardly know asking Jesus to give him a prophetic picture for his postman (me :)). And above of it he is painting it and very, very cool (Very important for an artist like me. The week before I went to a prophetic art seminar were I got a painting as well. The impression was okay but the painting artificially not so good). And additionally the painting was the exact answer to my prayers on that morning! I was close to tears and deeply touched!

I found out that I went to the seminar together with his wife. As he was presenting me his painting it was snowing. But later the sun came out :)

JFM: Preaching at the Jesus Freaks München

Last sunday I had the chance to preach again in our service in the bar Café Kosmos. My church the the Jesus Freaks München usually have our services there. We had a very groovy worship with free forms of new lyrics. Was good to be before God.

I was very excited cause I kicked one part of the sermon shortly before. I wanted to have more time for the rest and especially for a exercise. There were certain impressions at the beginning of the year that God wants to give us as a church certain treasures. So we had different sermons about these treasures.

I mostly asked the question what price are we willing to pay to get the treasure, what am I willing to give up for it? Reading novels like Treasure Island or The Hobbit the heroes were at first totally normal people with mediocre lifes. But when they went to get the treasure their lives were totally changed. They were in life danger, had to pass many adventures and dangers. They treasure was not just awaiting them. No, there were others wanting it also. For example there was a jealous dragon who was very dangerous and guarding it. But they also found out that there was a great portion of luck with them and that they were able to master all dangers.

So I challenged my audience to think about what price they were willing to pay. Do they exspect God to give them something really great and wonderful?

Then I talked about the Holy Spirit and his gifts. We need the power of the Holy Ghost to be able to overcome the challenges of the daily life. God has given us the gifts of the spirit as powerful tools. I challenged the people to exspect God to talk to them in their daily life, that He will give them important impressions. I told them some examples and then we made this exercise.

They should meet in pairs, shortly listen if God would say something to them for the other. Then speak it out and pray. Many took part in it with great results.

Really a nice service!

Beauty in the deepest heart

© 2010 Copyright by

In Israel I was finally able to draw an impression I received years ago during a leadership training of the jesus freaks in Nuremberg. I was deeply touched by the picture. I was drawing it again and again and had given it to certain people who where touched themselves. Now I have drawn it again and colored it. Now I am glad that I am able to present it this way to you.

There is a place deep in our heart that is so deep that we ourselves are not able to reach there. We don't even want to look there. We are afraid of doing it cause we believe it to be ugly, dirty and nasty. We are ashamed of it and ask ourselves if God knows this place of pain.

In my impression I saw this place in the shape of a deep dark cave. There is only a tiny small cleft reaching the ground and sunlight. Light was not able to reach down to the bottom cause the cleft was so thin. Only when the sun would be on a special position in the sky it was possible that a sunbeam could fall down on the bottom. Like in those old cathedrals with a tiny whole in the wall. With the right position of the sun there (like on Midsummer's Night) would be a spotlight shining on a certain marked place on the floor.

And so this lightbeam of God reached to the deepest place of my heart being normall in utter darkness. But against all expectancy it was not ugly, dirty or even disgusting. No, a wonderful Rose was growing there!

God knows the deepest Place of your heart where it is hurting. There is beauty. So don't be afraid of this place!

Haiti: A Call to Prayer & Fasting

Haiti - "A Call To Fasting & Prayer" from anthony gehin on Vimeo

On February 12, 2010, President Préval of Haiti called his nation to 3 days of fasting and prayer. Over 1 million Haitians attended this epic event. They gathered to intercede, to read scriptures, to worship and to repent. The president came and wept for an hour. During these days thousands converted to Christ among them over 100 voodoo priests.

That's what I call: healing for the nations, healing for the nations!

Israel Prophetic School 2010

Last week I spent a week in Israel for a Prophetic School with Pierrot Fey from the church Die Taube (The Dove) in Heidelberg, Germany. There are some prophecies I have concerning Israel so I just went to get to know this country. Somehow I had the feeling that the fulfilling might be connected with Arni Klein. Unfortunately he was not there during the time I was in Israel. Now that I have been there I would have liked to stay longer. The rest of the group spent another week at Sea of Galilee.

The first week we stayed at the Dead Sea in a small village called Ein Bokek. There are only hotels, restaurants and shopping centers. Crazy! Our hotel was the Tulip Inn. A nice one, but a little shabby here and there (eggshells in the scrambled eggs;-) ). I would not have liked a noble one. I shared the room together with a French man who could speak German.

As I did not know anyone I was at first a little bit lonely. I used the time for long prayer walks alongside the only street. Soon I found my own Prayer tower build over a ruin.

We had services in the mornings and evenings. I exspected something totally different, so it was hard for me to accustom with the method of this school. I first always thought: When will we finally start? I longed to pray for people and to prophesy for them. And I myself was in great need of some words of direction from the Lord how to continue my life. All activities were in German/ French. The 100 participants came from Germany, France, Switzerland and Austria.

We started with intense worship times (here I was able again to draw some prophetic pictures). Then Pierrot came to the front having some words of knowledge, praying with us for certain things or doing a proclamation with us. Then preached about a theme God had laid him on his heart.

For example he talked about the importance to be close to the heart of God. That it could be that a "great" sinner could be closer to the heart of God than a selfrighteous "small" sinner. The sermon about the spirit of control that everyone of us seems to have. Everyone wants to live in a given frame, nobody likes to break out. Let the others do something new, I will not be the first to do so...

My Spirit was moved especially when he talked about that things can happen on a higher level.
So many times we try to help people with little results. Here we are trained. But there is a higher level were we can bind territorial powers and whole nations get saved instantly. He talked about the meaning of being a prophet for nations. That's exactly what I am about!

At another time he talked about the difference of sharing something I know or imparting a revelation of God. When this happens it is most likely that it happens in a way that does not fit with our German sense of order and it may catapult us out of our comfort zone :)

After the sermons there was again worship and the possibility to come in prayer before God and react on what was said. In these times I got intense times with God. I hardly never sensed so much acceptance and love. God said thank you to how I serve him. Hardly can describe it...

On the last morning service there was a powerful time after the sermon, much was moved in the spiritual realm.

In the afternoons some excursions were offered, but I never found out where they would go. Besides it was far too hot for me and sometimes I was very tired (there must be something in the air they use for making valium and that makes you feel very comfortable. Hmmm). Masada was close, I would have liked to see...

Instead of that I spent the time sleeping, swimming in the Pool of the hotel, bath in the Dead Sea or just hang around with people I got to know by now (everyday sunshine, sometimes 36° C - a totally contrast to icy temperatures and masses of snow in Munich (especially if you are a postman).

There were some people you only talked a few sentences (e.g. at the meals) and immidiately I was one with them in the spirit, were on the same wavelength, we understood each other.

On some days there was the possibility to do some prayer walks with the whole group. I left the first one out. There they would climb the nearest 400m high mountain in the greatest heat.

But I took part when they walked on a street into the Dead Sea. That really was beautiful. There was a great view of the village, the street had sometime bizarre salty formations and we could see the sun set behind the mountains. I had good talks, a wonderful worship and prayertime.

On the last day we went into a Wadi, a dry riverbed that may carry much water. Was kinda adventurous, cause you had to climb around the trickle (or you should have had shoes with whom you could walk inside the water. But I needed my shoes dry for the flight back the next day and for the cold Germany).
Above there was a basin where you might could have bathed. But it was not very big so I did not went in. Last year they baptised some people here. Yeah! Here we prayed and sang. Someone told us that he saw a Jew there who was standing there very awestruck while we did this.

On Wednesday we did a whole day trip to
Jerusalem. We arrived on Mount of Olives with a great view of the city. Got a short introduction.

We walked to the place where Jesus might have wept over Jerusalem. We read the scriptures there loudly.

Then we passed through the Garden of Gethsemane (notice the sign where weapons are not allowed in here). The garden was much smaller as I thought. Unfortunately there was not much time and we went on immidiately.

Then up the Via Dolorosa, the alley where Jesus carried the cross to Calvary. Later we separated the group cause it was too chaotic to hold together such a great group.

It was kinda strange to feel the situation of this city, to breath the air. All these different cultures and religions bumping into each other. Jerusalem has a special atmosphere. Unfortunately there was not really time to give in to all of this.
Everywhere people with guns and machine pistols, special security checks. Some T-shirts that were sold are quite informing too...

With a small group we went to the Wailing Wall, watched the Jews while they were praying.
I would have liked to have my own personal time right at the wall. But we had not much time also. We strolled through small alleyways and the bazaar

Finally we settled down in the Austrian Hospice to eat some delicious apple strudel. We had to wait very long till we were able to order our things and another long time to get it. But in the garden it was cozy and we were able to really relax. I have to come again to watch again unhurriedly.

Right at the swimming pool at the hotel there was a bar in the style of Bedouin's tent with seat cushions. Here you could ly down at the talbe like Jesus did with his discioples. Very comfy. With some of the people I have been here more often to just talk and drink something :) Good talks!
On last evening I went with some people in a restaurant to eat. It was very nice if not for some moments who were very strange.

The week passed far too quick, met some very nice people I want to stay in contact with. One of them is working in Munich so we can meet from time to time. Don't know how I will see my time there in hindsight. But right now I can't see any prophecies fulfilled I had concerning Israel. But who knows. It won't be my last trip there.

It's for sure that I would have liked to pray and prophesy more for people. At least I was able to do it here and there.

When we arrive in Frankfurt everywhere there were campbeds. Don't know if there was a connection to the strike of the pilots the next day.

I was staying again with my friends in Frankfurt. I enjoyed seeing the kids again, to talk with my friends. Before I went back on the train to Munich I joined the service of their church in Hanau. Did like it very much. Very prophetic worship with great anointing and a very inspiring serrmon.
